Jerry Lee Lewis (September 29, 1935 – October 28, 2022) was an American singer, songwriter and pianist. Nicknamed “the Killer“, he was described as “Rock and roll’s first great wild man and one of the most influential pianists of the 20th century.Jerry Lee Lewis died of natural causes Friday morning at his home in Desoto County, Mississippi. He was 87 years old and was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame on Oct. 16.
