Blake Tollison Shelton Son of born to Dorothy, and Richard Shelton, was born on June 18, 1976. Blake Shelton blew all people’s minds as a well known American Country Music singer-songwriter, and TV personality. Having released a complete of 11 studio albums so far, he’s one among the foremost successful singers in contemporary America. For his brilliant performances in the field of music as well as on television, he has nominated for numerous awards and got awarded too. Shelton first came to prominence after the release of his debut single ‘Austin.’ Written by David Kent and Kirsti Manna, the song was released in April 2001. The song was about a lady trying to contact her ex-lover, It gained huge popularity among the crowd, peaking at favourite on the ‘Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. The same year, his debut studio album “Blake Shelton” released, and peaked at number three on ‘U.S. Billboard Top Country Albums.’ Over the subsequent few years, Shelton released several albums, most of which went on to become huge hits. He is also known for his appearance as a judge on TV shows, like ‘Nashville Star,’ ‘Clash of the Choirs,’ and ‘The Voice.’ In 2016, Blake played a voice role in the popular animated film ‘The Angry Birds Movie.

Austin,’ ‘All Over Me,’ ‘Ol’ Red’

Once he hit Nashville, Shelton sold songs he had written to many musical publishing houses and landed a solo recording contract with Giant Records. His style was a typical mixture of blue-collar rock songs and country ballads, and he soon topped the country and western charts with the song “Austin,” which held the No. 1 spot for five weeks. In 2002 he hit the charts together with his self-titled debut album released by Warner Bros. Once Giant Records dissolved and therefore the singles “All Over Me” and “Ol’ Red” helped the album achieve gold status.

Shelton released “The Dreamer” in 2003 February, and its first song, “The Baby,” reached No. 1 on the country and western charts, for 3 weeks. “Heavy Liftin’” and “Playboys of the Southwestern World,” The second and third songs of the album, and thus “The Dreamer” went for gold. In 2004 Blake Shelton released his 3rd album. “Blake Shelton’s Barn & Grill”. The second song from the album, “Some Beach,” became No. 1 hit for the third time in his career, and also the singles “Goodbye Time” and “Nobody but Me” reached the very best 10, sending the album to gold status. Shelton released “Blake Shelton’s Barn & Grill: A Video Collection” along with his 3rd album. In 2007 Blake’s fourth album was released “Pure BS”. “Don’t Make Me” and “The More I Drink,” are the two songs that reached the top 20 hits on the country charts. In the same year, Clash of the Choirs was Shelton’s debut reality TV show, as the judge.

‘Startin’ Fires,’ ‘Loaded’

Shelton released the full-length album Startin’ Fires in 2009, followed by Eps Hillbilly Bone and everyone About Tonight in 2010. That same year, he released his first collection of greatest hits, Loaded: the simplest of Blake Shelton. He went on to win several awards at the 2010 Grand Ole Opry, including an Academy of country and western award, a rustic Music Association award, and a CMT Music award.

“Based on a True Story”

“Based on a True Story” is his eighth album released In 2013, Which supported a real Story…, and entered his fourth season as a judge/coach on the hit reality television series The Voice. He was with Adam Levine, Shakira and Usher on the show. (Shakira and Usher replaced former judges/coaches of the series Christina Aguilera and Cee-Lo Green in 2013.) For the third time on the show, Shelton coached the winning contestant. Teenaged Texan Danielle Bradbery took the top honours for the fourth season of The Voice.

That November, Shelton picked up two important CMA honours. The country and western Association named him Male Vocalist of the Year and gave supported a real Story… the award for Album of the Year.
‘Bringing Back the Sunshine
Shelton quickly followed up supported a real Story… with Bringing Back the Sunshine (2014), which proved to be successful with country and western fans. The album, which features “Neon Light,” reached the highest of both the country and pop charts. Blake received CMA Award for Male Vocalist of the Year 2014.

‘If I’m Honest,’ ‘Texoma Shore,’ ‘God’s Country

Blake’s Tenth studio album is “If I’m Honest” (2016) and the eleventh album is “Texoma Shore” (2017). In late 2019, he released Fully Loaded: God’s Country, which featured the 2019 CMA Single of the Year, “God’s Country.”
