It’s a good news for Luke Comb’s fans who are eagerly waiting for new album of Luke Comb.Luke Combs is making up to release his new album “Gettin’ Old” on March 24, Luke wants his fans to get variety of taste from his new album.
Combs released new song “Joe” from the upcoming album on Friday for his sober fans.
“Joe” song is the story of man who went through alcoholism and now dedicates himself staying sober.
“There’s been a bunch of folks in my family that have struggled with alcoholism and things at times, you know, I would think a lot,” Combs told Kelleigh Bannen on Apple Music. “We’d go out and you play a show for a hundred people or 10,000 people or whatever it is. You know, our genre is so centric around drinking and partying and having a good time, and alcohol is always associated with that, you know?”
Combs said he has friends who live a sober lifestyle but he prefers to drink.
Luke teamed with Erik Dylan and James Slater to write “Joe” for them, who prefers to live a sober life style.
“I just wanted to write it because there’s just not a lot of country songs that aren’t all about drinking or what,” Combs said. “It’s like, being on the other side of that, I think, can be really hard if you’re a fan of our genre. And so I wanted there to be a song in there for those people, too, because I don’t think that they ever get spoken to very much.”
“Gettin’ Old” will be available from March 24 and is a companion to his acclaimed 2022 record, “Growin’ Up.”
